What is a rank grid, in plain English?
Google Maps shows different businesses depending on where the searcher is standing. A rank grid repeats your search from many spots around you, so you see where you're strong and where you're invisible.
Each dot is one spot. Its color tells you your position there.
How does Map check work?

Why is my position different across the map?
Google weighs distance from the searcher, so you usually rank best near your address.
How often should I check?
Weekly is enough. Rankings move slowly and weekly checks cost half the run-now price.
Does Map check change anything on Google?
No. It only reads search results.
Can I track more than one keyword?
Yes. The cost forecast shows the monthly credits before you switch tracking on.
Can I run a map check with the free credits?
Map scans need an active plan. The 30 free credits cover replies, keywords and AI search checks.
Does this guarantee better rankings?
No tool can guarantee rankings. Map check shows where you stand so you can act.
Is it safe to connect my Google Business Profile?
Yes. You connect through Google's own sign-in screen, so we never see your Google password, and the access key Google gives us is stored encrypted. You can disconnect at any time from your settings or your Google account.
What happens if I run out of credits?
AI actions pause until your monthly credits refresh, or you can top up 500 credits for £12 at any time. Nothing is charged without you choosing it, and any action that fails is refunded automatically.
Can I cancel?
Yes. Cancel during the 14-day free trial (which includes 250 trial credits) and you aren't charged. After your first payment you have 30 days to ask for a full refund. After that, cancelling stops the plan renewing at the end of the year or month you paid for.
